THE STORY
So… how did a metaphysical teacher end up creating a purple dragon?
I’ve been bringing the teachings of Florence Scovel Shinn, author of The Game of Life and How To Play It, into our fast paced 21st century world for more than 20 years.
I’ve written books and workbooks, created classes, programs, meditations and masterminds based on Florence’s teachings. I’ve taught and supported thousands of like-minded students…
and spent a very long time exploring one question:
How do we sustain the elevated feeling of empowerment triggered by Florence’s teachings?
Over the years, I’ve watched people discover that they are far more powerful than they thought they were.  Not powerful because they can control everything around them. But powerful because they can learn to consciously choose to vibrate at the elevated frequency of LOVE within them.
And that energetic vibration influences and molds their thoughts…
elevates and sustains their feelings…
heals their beliefs…
manages their responses…
and seals their relationship with LOVE.
I created Ima Miracle Magnet (he makes a guest appearance in Landyn Dragyn’s Super-Power) to show us how to move this LOVE energy and manage it.
During discussions, one topic always stood out: if only we had been introduced to Florence’s teachings as children… our lives would have developed differently… we would have had a firmer foundation of LOVE to guide us.
And then…
Landyn showed up.

Enter the little purple dragon.
Landyn gave me a way to take some of the ideas I’ve been teaching for years and introduce them through visualized imagination, suspense, laughter and story.
Because sometimes…
a child doesn’t need another lesson.
They need a dragon.
And sometimes…
neither does a grown-up.

What Kate Believes
I believe LOVE is the most powerful, magnetic force in the universe.
I believe imagination matters is way more than make-believe.
I believe our thoughts and feelings matter.
I believe we are more than what has happened to us.
I believe we have the power within us to move energy.
I believe we have the power to make choices on how we feel, what we believe and what we will accept.
I believe angels are real and that we’re never as alone as we may sometimes feel.
And I believe life gets really interesting when we become curious about what is possible instead of deciding in advance what isn’t.
You don’t have to believe everything I believe.
Take what resonates…
and put a pin in the rest.
That’s how I’ve always taught my classes, written my books and workbooks, supported my clients and lived my life.

I’m Kate Large.
I’m a metaphysical teacher, author and creator who has spent more than two decades creating safe spaces for people to explore their own inner power.
I’ve written multiple books, including The Game of Life Workbook and Landyn Dragyn’s Super-Power.
I’ve taught thousands of people through classes, workshops, private sessions and online experiences.
And these days…
I’m building and sustaining my destination Village.
A place where people can come when they need relief. Â
When they’re looking for answers and guidance.
When they’re curious about angels.
When they want to explore Florence Scovel Shinn.
When they’re ready to remember who they are.
Or…
when they simply want to wander around and share in the warm fuzzy welcome.
And yes… there’s a real Kate behind all of this.
I live beside a lake with Majyk AngelFeather, my little white poodle and frequent co-conspirator.
Much of what you find in my work has been born from real life…
from things I’ve experienced, questions I’ve asked, things I’ve learned, things my angels have shown me…
and a whole lot of curiosity about what happens when we choose LOVE as our State of Being.
I’m still learning.
Still discovering.
Still asking questions.
Still creating.
And apparently…
still setting purple dragons loose in the world.
